The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the organization operates in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. They will assist the Director in the development and implementation of compliance programs, conduct audits and assessments, and work with relevant departments to provide guidance and training to staff on compliance matters. Compliance activities will include working within Operational/Recruitment, Human Resources, Payroll, Marketing, and IT.
The role:
Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies, procedures and programs to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and business and industry standards.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programs and identify areas for improvement.
Monitor changes in laws and regulations relevant to the organization's operations and update compliance programs accordingly.
Liaise with the other departments to provide guidance and training to employees on compliance matters.
Investigate and resolve compliance issues, including breaches of policies or regulations, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as Operational departments, HR, Training, payroll, IT and Marketing to ensure alignment of compliance efforts across the organization.
Serve as a point of contact for external regulatory authorities and auditors, coordinating responses to inquiries and inspections.
Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management, highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations.
Act as Data Protection Officer for the organization.

Although training will be provided, the following would be advantageous:
Proficiency in conducting audits and assessments.
Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
Skilled in investigating and resolving compliance issues.

AM2PM are seeking a professional and reliable LGV2 Tipper Driver to join our client in Cumbernauld. This role involves the delivery and collection of waste around Glasgow and the surrounding areas. This is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent position, offering a competitive rate of £16.50 per hour for day shifts.
LGV2 Tipper Driver Responsibilities
Safely operate an LGV2 tipper vehicle to deliver and collect waste in Glasgow and nearby areas.
Ensure all loads are secured and transported in compliance with safety regulations.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any incidents.
Communicate effectively with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient service.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including health and safety standards.
Qualifications
Valid LGV2 (Category C) driving licence.
CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
Digital tachograph card.
Previous experience operating tipper vehicles is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of road safety and transport regulations.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
A professional and courteous attitude towards customers and colleagues.
LGV2 Tipper Driver Day-to-Day
Start your day with a vehicle inspection to ensure it is safe and ready for operation.
Follow a pre-planned route to deliver and collect waste materials efficiently.
Communicate with the operations team to address any changes or updates to your schedule.
Complete all necessary paperwork and log details of your deliveries and collections.
Return the vehicle to the depot at the end of the shift and report any maintenance or repair needs.
