LGV2 M/drop Driver Responsibilities - Safely operate an LGV2 vehicle to delivery and collection of pallets or cages in Glasgow and nearby areas. - Ensure all loads are secured and transported in compliance with safety regulations. - Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road safety - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any incidents. - Communicate effectively with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient service. - Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including health and safety standards. Qualifications - Valid LGV2 (Category C) driving licence. - CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification. - Digital tachograph card. - Previous experience operating vehicles is highly desirable. - Strong understanding of road safety and transport regulations. - Excellent time management and organisational skills. - A professional and courteous attitude towards customers and colleagues. LGV2 M/drop Driver Day-to-Day - Start your day with a vehicle inspection to ensure it is safe and ready for operation. - Follow a pre-planned route to deliver and collect waste materials efficiently. - Communicate with the operations team to address any changes or updates to your schedule. - Complete all necessary paperwork and log details of your deliveries and collections. - Return the vehicle to the depot at the end of the shift and report any maintenance or repair needs.
