The Role
The business Development Manager will be covering the UK and Ireland to drive growth in vehicle clutch and transmission sales. This will involve developing and managing relationships with both new and existing customers whilst working to targets.
Working closely with your clients, you will be developing sales and marketing plans, identifying future opportunities and supporting future product range development. Reglar customer engagements including visits are essential to ensure continuity of service, strengthen partnerships and support business growth
In addition to covering the UK and Ireland visiting clients, you will be required to travel to head office in Banbury on a weekly basis to share updates with internal teams and work on future developments.
Key duties:
Conducting regular visits to customers within the UK, Ireland and sometimes internationally to support business needs
Identify and develop new customer opportunities
Grow sales across key distribution channels
Investigate alternative routes to market
Manage the sales pipeline effectively and logging on crm
Decide upon rebates and agreements
Prepare and submit quotes for parts
Plan, co ordinate and manage customer promotions
Attend UK and international tradeshows
Monitor aged debt to support credit control
Ensure compliance with ISO standards
The Person
You will be required to hold a full driving licence and passport due to travel requirements of the role
Experience of the Automotive Aftermarket sector is highly desirable
Experience of attending tradeshows and representing the business professionally
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently
Results focused with a pro active approach to achieving sales targets
Intermediate Microsoft office skills for reporting and analysis

The Role
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing the internal and external sales teams and sales agents whilst providing strategic support to the Sales Director
You will be overseeing and co ordinating daily activities to ensure the smooth running of UK and Nordic operations. This role also holds direct responsibility for key customers, supporting business growth and delivering high levels of service.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and support internal and external sales teams to ensure high levels of service and sales performance
Overseeing the efficient process of customer orders and quotations, ensuring admin and sales processes are followed
Manage customer order timeline to ensure lead times and customer expectations are adhered to
Maintain sales funnel to reflect ongoing projects
Lead the training and development of the sales team
Manage workload during holidays and sickness
Support the Sales Director and provide report requirements
Monitor monthly sales margins
Monitor stock levels in line with customer expectations, ensuring physical checks are recorded

Automotive aftermarket, general automotive or aerospace experience required
Occasional travel across UK and Nordics so full driving licence and passport required
Experience working closely with product management teams desirable
Proficient in Microsoft Teams and office 365 as well as strong excel and data analysis skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

This is a key leadership role combining strong technical CNC expertise with people management, process optimisation, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
The Role
Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of CNC operators and setters in daily operations.
Plan and coordinate workloads, machine schedules, and resource allocation to meet production targets.
Perform complex setups, prove-out programs, and operate Haas CNC machines (primarily VF-series mills) when required.
Oversee machining of aluminium extrusions - including fixturing, tool selection, speeds/feeds optimization for aluminium alloys.
Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and specifications to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.
Troubleshoot machining issues, tool wear, and program inefficiencies quickly to minimize downtime.
Maintain high standards of quality - conduct first-off inspections, in-process checks, and final verification using precision measuring equipment.
Train and mentor team members in best practices for Haas controls (NGC), G-code editing, toolpath strategies, and safe operation.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives - reduce cycle times, improve material utilization, minimize scrap, and implement lean principles.
Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, 5S standards, and company procedures.
Monitor machine maintenance schedules and report any issues to maintenance team.
Liaise with production planning, quality, and engineering teams to resolve technical or scheduling issues.

The Person
Previous experience in CNC milling within a supervisory or team leader role
Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360) for program review/editing
Knowledge of workholding solutions for extrusions (vacuum tables, custom fixtures, modular clamping).
Previous exposure to lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement projects.
Strong hands-on experience setting up and operating Haas CNC machines (VF / VM series preferred).
Solid background machining aluminium.
Proficient in reading engineering drawings and using precision measuring tools (verniers, tapes, rules).
Good understanding of G-code programming, tool offsets, work offsets, and Haas NGC control interface.
Experience optimising feeds, speeds, and tooling for aluminium to achieve high surface finish and efficiency.
