CNC Setter/Programmer - Wolverhampton - £15-17 per hour, depending on experience We are proud to be supporting our client in their recruitment for a CNC Setter/Programmer. This is a full time, permanent role. The role Machine Setup and Preparation: Load raw materials, install tools, fixtures and workpieces into CNC machines. Adjust machine parameters for optimal performance, including speeds, feeds, and tolerances. Programming and Optimization: Read and interpret technical drawings, 3D models, and job orders to write, edit, or debug CNC programs using machine-specific languages. Test and refine programs to minimise cycle times and material waste. Operation and Production: Operate CNC machines to produce parts, monitor processes for defects, and perform in-process inspections using tools like vernier and measuring tapes. Run production batches while adhering to safety and quality standards.
