Location: Warrington, Omega Park
Position Overview
We are seeking motivated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our dynamic team in Warrington, based at Omega Park. The ideal candidates will have experience in goods inwards and outwards operations, loading/unloading, and handling heavy lifting. This is an ongoing position with possibilities of contract extension or permanent employment for the right candidates. This role also benefits from access to a contemporary canteen and includes work within the PAC Park facility.
Shift Pattern
- 3 on / 3 off schedule
- 12-hour shifts:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (£13.23/hour)
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (£15.75/hour)
Note: Flexibility to work both day and night shifts on a rotational basis is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform goods in and goods out processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company protocols.
- Load and unload products, including heavy lifting as required.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys).
- Conduct inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily and weekly targets.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.
- Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Previous experience as a warehouse operative or in a similar role involving goods in and goods out processes.
- Comfortable with heavy manual handling and lifting tasks.
- Proven experience with loading and unloading goods.
- High attention to detail to ensure stock accuracy.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow processes effectively.
- Flexibility to cover both day and night shifts on a rotating basis.
Preferred but not mandatory:
- Forklift certification or experience operating MHE (Material Handling Equipment).
