Location: Paisley, Scotland
Duration: Fixed-term until September (Potential for permanent role)
Working Hours: Night shift (10:00 PM Sunday – 6:00 AM Friday) Rate will be £14.50 per hour PAYE

This position is offered on a fixed-term contract through September, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on individual performance and operational requirements.
No forklift certification? Don’t worry! While a valid Forklift Counterbalance Certificate is an advantage, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Your Duties & Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Operative, you will:
- Arrange and organize chilled food totes for vehicle-specific delivery schedules.
- Use pump trucks to safely position and secure goods.
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Operate forklifts (if certified) to handle pallets or other materials.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet tight deadlines.
- Consistently follow health and safety procedures.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in warehouse operations and manual handling.
- Ability to work effectively during night shifts.
- Familiarity with workplace health and safety practices.
- Dependability, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Counterbalance Certification (preferred but not essential).
- Previous experience handling chilled or perishable goods.
- Proficiency in using pump trucks or similar warehouse equipment.
- A proactive attitude towards cleanliness and efficiency within the warehouse.
