Location: Bothwell
Salary: £12.80 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm
Break: 30 minutes unpaid
Ongoing work with the possibility of full-time positions

AM2PM Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client in Bothwell for an experienced Yard Operative to join their busy builders' merchant team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous builders' yard or builders' merchant experience who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in delivering excellent service to customers.

Previous builders' yard or builders' merchant experience is essential for this position.

The Role

As a Yard Operative, you'll play an important part in keeping the yard running smoothly and ensuring customers receive their orders efficiently. Your duties will include:

• Loading and unloading building materials
• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Moving and organising materials throughout the yard
• Assisting customers with collections
• Checking stock and deliveries
• Keeping the yard clean, organised and safe
• Carrying out general manual handling duties
• Working closely with the wider yard and warehouse team

What We're Looking For

You must have previous experience working within a builders' yard or builders' merchant environment and be comfortable with the physical demands of the role.

This is an ongoing opportunity, with the possibility of full-time positions becoming available for the right candidates. The role offers stable weekday hours with no weekend working.
