Role Details

• Shift Pattern: 6am - 2pm AND 2pm - 10pm ROTATING, 5 days out of 7. You MUST be able to work both of these shifts. 
• Hourly Rate: £12.71 
• Position Type: Automated order picking role

Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative:

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in the seamless operation of our warehouse. Your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Accurately picking, packing, and labeling items for distribution using automated systems.
• Inspecting warehouse equipment, such as cages & totes, for safety standards before distribution back into the warehouse.
• Processing returns accurately using Warehouse Management Systems.
• Ensuring all orders are prepared and packaged in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines.
• Conducting regular stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods, adhering to safety protocols.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse during your shift.
• Reporting any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns promptly to the team leader or supervisor.
• Collaborating with the team to meet productivity and efficiency targets.

Qualifications of a Warehouse Operative:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment, with proficiency in picking and packing operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills to manage documentation and inventory control.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a positive attitude towards challenges.
