Warehouse Operative 

We are recruiting for Warehouse Operative roles in Hull. You will be working for a well-established non-food manufacturing business based in the HU9 area that is going through an exciting period of growth.

Details of a Warehouse Operative:

• Rate of Pay: £12.71 to £13.00 per hour, depending on experience, duties and licences
• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8am-4.10pm
• Location: Hull, HU9
• Duration: Ongoing with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract

Role of a Warehouse Operative:

• Working across the warehouse and factory

• Picking, packing and processing customer orders accurately

• Loading and unloading lorries

• Moving stock and materials safely around the site

• Carrying out general labouring duties

• Supporting machining work involving wood or metal

• Ensuring orders are completed and ready for customers on time

• Following all health and safety procedures

• Maintaining a clean and organised working area

Requirements of a Warehouse Operative:

• Previous warehouse, factory or general labouring experience

• Machining experience involving wood or metal is beneficial

• Previous modular manufacturing experience would be advantageous

• A valid counterbalance forklift licence is required for forklift duties
