Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that plays a critical role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations. The position involves handling goods with care, working collaboratively to meet deadlines, and contributing to our commitment to exceptional service. This role offers flexibility with shifts and potential for optional overtime on Saturdays.
Estimated Duration: Starting the week commencing Monday, 23rd February for up to four weeks (with potential extension).
Shift Timings: 8-9 hour shifts between 0700-2000 hours, Monday-Friday, with optional overtime on Saturdays based on inbound volume.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately perform pallet-building and rework tasks.
- Load and unload goods in a safe and organized manner.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., FLTs if certified).
- Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe working spaces in compliance with health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with your team to meet daily volume and productivity targets.
- Adhere to company policies, including diversity and inclusion standards, while creating a positive and welcoming team environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is desirable but not essential (training can be provided).
- Physical fitness to handle repetitive lifting or moving of stock items. .
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
- Flexible and reliable with a willingness to work additional hours if required.

Day-to-day
- Start your day by receiving your assigned tasks during a team briefing.
- Carefully review and organize shipments for inbound and outbound tasks.
- Use tools and equipment, such as handheld scanners or FLTs, to move stock efficiently.
- Work alongside your teammates to rework pallets and prepare orders for distribution.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure packaging meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with supervisors and management to resolve any issues or delays.
- Maintain an ongoing commitment to safety and cleanliness throughout your shift.
