Warehouse Operative 

Location: Warrington, Omega Park

We are seeking motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative roles to join our dynamic team in Warrington,Omega Park. The ideal candidate will have experience loading/unloading,Picking. This is an ongoing position with possibilities of contract extension or permanent employment for the right candidates. Shift Patterns of a Warehouse Operative 

• 3 on / 3 off schedule
• 12-hour shifts:
  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (£13.23/hour)
  • Night Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (£15.75/hour)

 

Responsibilities

• Perform goods in and goods out processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company protocols.
• Load and unload products, including heavy lifting as required.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily and weekly targets.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.
• Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.

Key Skills and Requirements of a Warehouse Operative

• Previous experience as a warehouse operative or in a similar role 
• Comfortable with heavy manual handling and lifting tasks.
• Proven experience with loading and unloading goods.
• High attention to detail to ensure stock accuracy.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow processes effectively.
• Flexibility to cover both day and night shifts on a rotating basis.

Preferred but not mandatory:

• Forklift certification or experience operating MHE (Material Handling Equipment).
