About the Role
Warehouse Manager - £45,000 Erdington - NIGHTS
We are proud to be supporting out Erdington based client with the recruitment of a Warehouse Manager to manage and lead their team. You will be responsible for overseeing the night automation warehouse operation, ensuing maximum efficiency and productivity to meet customer needs and deadlines.
The role:
Proactively manage and lead your team, identify, anticipate and resolve any operational matter within your automation shift.
Using data and insights to improve productivity
Regularly update Safe Working Practices (SWP) training modules to align with current procedures, manage the change control process, and develop training plans for the team, ensuring proper SWP sign-off.
Performance Monitor and enhance KPI performance within the team, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
Maintain and improve inventory accuracy within the automation, proactively addressing any issues that arise.
Conduct regular communication briefings with direct reports
Lead health and safety initiatives, performing regular checks and audits, and managing accident/incident investigations, including root cause analysis.
Proactively manage absence, performance, and disciplinary matters, including conducting one to one's and probation reviews.
Maintaining and building a culture that is in line with the Company's expectations, policies and procedures.
Work with the Retail and E-Commerce teams to ensure that all tasks and customer orders are fulfilled within required timeframe.
Pro active approach to planning resource in line with order activity with the relevant department heads.
Ensuring KPIs are achieved in-line with the agreed specifications and time periods.
Planning and managing the Web fulfilment team and other warehouse teams ensuring resource is in place to ensure tasks are fulfilled and labour costs met.
Creating daily/weekly people schedules.
Managing, training and coaching team members to ensure they are fully equipped to fulfil their tasks.
Monitoring task progress and productivity at regular intervals.
Reporting findings to the senior management team.
Stock inventory investigation and control
Ensuring full compliance at all times of company policies and procedures, standards and legislation
Facilitate investigation and disciplinary meetings.
Monitoring adherence to Health and Safety requirements
Undertake and reasonable assigned ad-hoc tasks.
The details:
Up to £45,000 depending on experience
16.30pm - 1am - night shift
