UPVC Window Fabricator

Overview

We are seeking UPVC Window Fabricators to join our HU9 based client. This role provides an exciting opportunity to participate in manufacturing processes that ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to the success of our company.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble UPVC windows and related components with precision and accuracy.
  • Utilize a variety of power tools and manual tools in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Carry out manual handling and lifting of materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain and inspect tools and equipment to ensure they are in proper working order.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and specifications to ensure production accuracy.
  • Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive and inclusive manner to achieve production goals.
  • Keep the workspace clean and organized, adhering to workplace safety and cleanliness protocols.
  • Report any issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisory team promptly.
  • Uphold company policies regarding equality, diversity, and inclusion in all interactions.

Key Details

  • This position is temporary to permanent.
  • Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:15 PM, Monday to Thursday.
  • Pay rate: £12.21 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with assembly, particularly in window fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials (manual lifting required).
  • Keen attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting technical specifications.
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to adapt to new tasks and challenges.
