We are seeking a professional and reliable Security Guard to join our gatehouse team at a manufacturing company based in Ashton-under-Lyne. This role is integral to ensuring the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. • Location: Ashton-under-Lyne
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6 am - 2 pm, and 1 pm finish on Fridays
• Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Responsibilities

As a Security Guard, your primary duties will include:

• Greeting all visitors and ensuring they have the proper authorisation to enter the premises.
• Contacting and communicating with relevant personnel in production to verify visitor access.
• Reviewing and maintaining accurate documentation for visitors and leavers.
• Inspecting lorry trailers leaving the site to ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Managing and maintaining the schedule of visitors to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitoring and safeguarding the gatehouse and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
