We are proud to be supporting our client, a major manufacturer in the housebuilding market, with their recruitment for a Production Planner/Scheduler.

The role:

Liaising with customers to ensure accuracy and demand

Downloading customers' requirements into the production plan and Navision, which will be reviewed by technical and manufacturing departments

Assembly planning for the outbound logistics teams, loading onto the system and checking quantities and all other details are accurate

Producing manufacturing and assembly forecast data

Order processing and transport planning, detailing accurate information for despatch purposes

Generating and loading production orders into the factory systems

Key measurables will include accuracy of production plan to meet customer call off requirements, logistics, KPI's and costs per load and per unit.

 

The person:

Qualified to A level or above

Highly analytical and comfortable with different forms of data

Highly organised and able to multi task and prioritise

Have a good working knowledge of MRP systems

Great communication skills

Experience of continuous improvement methods within lean manufacturing

Be able to demonstrate a calm and managerial approach to planning.
