Production Operative

We are recruiting for multiple production operatives for a non food manufacturing environment in the Pickering YO18 area. You will be working at a well-established manufacturing business that is going through an exciting period of growth.

 Role Objective:
This is a hands-on production role within a busy manufacturing environment, ideal for individuals who are motivated, reliable, and comfortable working with lightweight, hand-held components. You'll be supporting key stages of the plastic injection-moulding process, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. Flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.

 Requirements of production operative:
- Checking the quality of plastic injection-moulded parts
- Operating production machinery and equipment
- Completing basic assembly tasks
- Conducting regular inspections and reporting issues
- Following standard operating and safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Supporting general production tasks as required
- Working towards daily production targets

 Shifts:
-Rotating shifts across days and nights working 8am-8pm and 8pm until 8am

- Availability across multiple shift patterns may be required

 Pay Rate:
- £12.21-£12.50 per hour
- Shift-dependent rates
- Temp-to-perm opportunities available
