About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced LGV1 Class 1 Driver to join their team in Eurocentral. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity to work with a reputable company that values your skills and is committed to fostering your professional growth.
You will play an integral role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to stores and regional distribution centres (RDCs) while maintaining the highest safety and operational standards. The role combines local deliveries and distance work with tasks that include cage handling and some palletized deliveries. Deliveries will involve both backdoor drops and bay unloading scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently for deliveries to stores and RDCs.
- Handle cage loads and occasional palletized items, performing backdoor and bay deliveries as required.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations, company policies, and health & safety standards.
- Complete delivery documentation and logs with accuracy.
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure roadworthiness.
- Deliver high-quality customer service at delivery sites, acting as a professional representative of our client.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment, promoting alignment with the company's values.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements

Experience:
- A minimum of 12 months' Class 1 (LGV1) driving experience.

Licenses & Certifications:
- A valid Class 1 (LGV1) License.
- A current Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- An active Digital Tachograph Card.

Driving Record:
- No more than 6 penalty points (Strictly no DR or DD endorsements).

Flexibility:
- Ability to work shifts starting between 04:00 and 06:00 as per the assigned schedule.

- Deep understanding of health & safety requirements, with a strong commitment to safe driving practices.
