# Job Advertisement: Class 2 Drivers Moffett licence training will be provided

## Overview  
**Job Type:** Temporary

- Dayshift: £15.50/hour  
- Weekends: £16.50/hour  
**Hours:** 40+ hours per week (45-minute break included)  
**Start Times:** 6am (Days)  

AM2PM Recruitment is seeking experienced and reliable LGV2 (Class 2) Drivers to join a well-established and rapidly expanding haulage company based in Hamillton. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent work with a reputable logistics provider.  

## Responsibilities  

• 2 years on Class 2 for insurance purposes
• Monday to Friday 6.30am start  42.5 hour week but job and finish approach so finishing times vary ( 40 hours average )
• Salary 32.7k per annum
• Moffett licence training will be provided
• 26 tonne curtainside vehicles
• Drops generally across central belt with occasional runs to Newcastle, Aberdeen etc
• Good benefits including pension, life insurance and 34 days holiday ( inc 8 statutory days )

## Qualifications  
To be successful in this role, you will need:  
- A valid LGV2 (Class 2) licence. Moffett licence training will be provided

- A CPC and Digital Tachograph card. 

- A maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR or DD codes).  

- Previous experience is preferred, but new passes will also be considered.  

- Strong communication skills and a high level of reliability.  

## Day-to-Day  
Your day will start at 6am, with shifts typically runningYou will be responsible for delivering goods to local businesses across the central belt, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. You will also be required to perform vehicle checks, maintain accurate records, and operate within safety and legal guidelines.
