HGV Class 1 Driver

AM2PM are seeking a professional and reliable Class 1 Nightshift Driver to join our team in Cumbernauld This role involves nightshift driving duties, depot runs, Single-man or Double-man trunking. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies. Complete necessary paperwork accurately and promptly. Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness. Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding schedules and any issues. Qualifications Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence, no experience required. Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification. Digital tachograph card. Proven experience in Class 1 driving, preferably in nightshift operations. Strong understanding of road safety and transport regulations. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and handle nightshift schedules. Day-to-Day Start time: 17.30 - 18:00 - 19.00 Begin your shift by conducting a thorough vehicle inspection. Carry out scheduled RDC deliveries, ensuring timely and safe transportation. Complete runs to the Longtown depot or Preston trunk as required. Maintain clear communication with the transport team throughout your shift. End your shift by completing necessary paperwork and reporting any issues. Benefits Competitive hourly rate of £18.50 - £21.00 per hour. Consistent nightshift schedule.
