  • Flexibility: 9 am - 5 pm, some flexibility available

What You'll Be Doing

As a Health & Safety Advisor, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining compliance trackers and updating statutory inspection systems.
  • Delivering essential briefings, including first aid inductions and H&S updates.
  • Planning and overseeing emergency preparedness activities, such as evacuation drills.

  • Assisting in rolling out and embedding the use of Evotix systems.
  • Developing and maintaining policies, procedures, forms, and standard templates.
  • Communicating key health and safety information and compiling KPI data.
  • Keeping site notice boards up to date with relevant H&S communications.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced professional with:

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

  • In-depth understanding of UK H&S legislation.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate qualification.
  • Strong ability to conduct audits independently.

Desirable Qualifications & Traits:

  • Diploma or NVQ Level 6 in Health & Safety would be an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • A full UK driving licence (desirable for inter-site travel).

A Typical Day in This Role

Your workday could include activities such as:

  • Travelling between corporate offices and logistics facilities to carry out compliance audits.
  • Engaging with employees during team safety meetings and addressing on-site concerns.
  • Updating risk assessments and refining workplace safety protocols.
  • Supporting projects by ensuring risk management documents are reviewed and compliant.
  • Delivering training on essential H&S topics and providing first aid inductions.
  • Assisting with the implementation of Evotix systems to embed new practices effectively.
  • Overseeing emergency planning drills to assess and enhance preparedness.
  • Maintaining health and safety documentation, policies, and on-site noticeboards.
