Forklift Driver - Counterbalance & Reach (Both Licences Essential)

Location: Newmains, North Lanarkshire
Pay Rate: £12.98 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Attendance Bonus: £200 per month after 3 months

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our client's busy operation based in Newmains.

This is a dual-role position, combining Counterbalance and Reach forklift driving with general warehouse duties. The successful candidate must be comfortable undertaking both aspects of the role as part of their daily responsibilities.

Please note: All applicants MUST hold valid licences for BOTH Counterbalance and Reach forklift trucks.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Counterbalance and Reach forklift trucks safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Moving, stacking and organising stock.
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties, including manual handling.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures.

Essential Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence - ESSENTIAL
• Valid Reach forklift licence - ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience operating both types of forklift.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Willingness to undertake general warehouse duties alongside forklift operations.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

Pay & Benefits

• £12.98 per hour
• Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week.
• Basic annual salary of approximately £27,000.
• £200 monthly attendance bonus after 3 months, subject to attendance requirements.
• Potential additional earnings of £2,400 per year through attendance bonuses.
• Annualised earning potential of approximately £29,400, including 12 monthly bonuses.
• In-house training provided for Telehandler and B2 forklift licences, offering an excellent opportunity to develop additional skills and qualifications.
