## Overview  
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join our client’s team based in Law. This role involves operating a forklift to load vehicles, as well as performing general yard and labouring tasks. Shifts are Monday to Friday 07.30am to 17.00 with 1 hour break

## Responsibilities  
- Safely operate a forklift with a counterbalance license to load and unload vehicles.  
- Assist with general yard duties, including organising materials and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.  
- Perform labouring tasks as required to support the efficient operation of the yard.  
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition.  
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.  
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.  

## Qualifications  
- Valid forklift counterbalance license is essential.  
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a yard or warehouse environment is highly desirable.  
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.  
- Ability to perform manual labour and work in an outdoor environment.  
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.  
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.  

## Day-to-Day  
- Start the day by inspecting the forklift and ensuring it is ready for use.  
- Load and unload vehicles with precision and care, ensuring goods are handled safely.  
- Organise and maintain the yard, ensuring materials are stored correctly and the area is tidy.  
- Assist with general labouring tasks, such as moving materials and supporting other team members.  
- Communicate with supervisors and colleagues to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.  
- End the day by performing routine maintenance checks on the forklift and reporting any issues.
