Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a counterbalance forklift truck to move, locate, and stack products.
• Unload containers as part of assigned tasks.
• Carry out pre-operational checks of the forklift and maintain equipment logs.
• Organise and store goods effectively as per company regulations.
• Follow health and safety protocols in the workplace.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team.

Work Schedule and Pay Rates

You will have the opportunity to work a variety of shifts Monday through Sunday, depending on your availability and company requirements:

• 6am-2pm - Mon-Fri: Pay Rate - £12.71 per hour
• 2pm-10pm - Mon-Fri: Pay Rate - £12.71 per hour
• 10pm-6am - Mon-Fri: Pay Rate - £13.98 per hour
• 10am-6pm (Wed-Fri), 2pm-10pm (Saturday), 10am-6pm (Sunday): Pay Rate - Wed-Fri £12.71 per hour / Sat-Sun £13.98 per hour

Key Skills and Experience

• Preferred - Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck License.
• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift is essential.
• Ability to speak and understand English fluently for effective communication on-site.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a role that involves manual handling, including unloading containers.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
