Cleaner
About the Role
The Cleaner will play a vital role in maintaining the hygiene and safety of our facility. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common spaces
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, window cleaning, and replenishing supplies in designated areas
- Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules
- Perform minor maintenance tasks and report equipment malfunctions or facility issues to the Factory Manager
- Work independently and efficiently to complete assigned tasks
- Document routine inspections and maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards
- Undertake training as required to develop skills relevant to the role
Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cleaner
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and suppliers
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Desirable but not essential: Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification
- Desirable but not essential: Access to own transport
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, dayshift
- Hours to be agreed
