Overview

AM2PM are seeking a professional and reliable Class 1 Nightshift Driver to join our team in Uddingston. This role involves nightshift driving duties, including RDC deliveries, depot runs, and trunking. Responsibilities

• Perform RDC deliveries efficiently and on time.
• Conduct runs to the Longtown depot and Preston trunk as required.
• Ensure all loads are secured and transported safely.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding schedules and any issues.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence 1 year experience required.
• Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Proven experience in Class 1 driving, preferably in nightshift operations.
• Strong understanding of road safety and transport regulations.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle nightshift schedules.

Day-to-Day

• Start time: 18:00.
• Begin your shift by conducting a thorough vehicle inspection.
• Carry out scheduled RDC deliveries, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
• Complete runs to the Longtown depot or Preston trunk as required.
• Maintain clear communication with the transport team throughout your shift.
• End your shift by completing necessary paperwork and reporting any issues.
