AM2PM are seeking a professional and reliable Class 1 Double Man Driver to join our team. This role involves a double man run from Hillington to Wolverhampton. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle on a double man run from Hillington to Wolverhampton.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with your co-driver to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and any incidents as required.
• Communicate effectively with the transport team to report any delays, issues, or concerns.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and customer service at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license for at leat 1 Year.
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Proven experience in Class 1 driving, preferably with double man runs.
• Strong knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to safety and compliance.

Day-to-Day

• Start your shift in Hillington, ensuring the vehicle is inspected and ready for the journey.
• Work collaboratively with your co-driver to complete the scheduled run to Wolverhampton.
• Adhere to the planned route while maintaining safety and efficiency.
• Handle any unforeseen challenges on the road with professionalism and composure.
• Complete all required documentation and communicate with the transport team as needed.
• Return to Hillington at the end of the run, ensuring the vehicle is parked and secured appropriately.
