The role has a broad range of responsibilities across customer order administration, accounts support, invoicing, logistics coordination, operational documentation and general site administration. The postholder will ensure that information is processed accurately, efficiently and within required timescales, while providing reliable day-to-day support to the wider operational team. Working closely with Managers and colleagues across Operations, Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Technical and Accounts, the role plays an important part in ensuring that the business has the accurate information, documentation and administrative support required to operate an effective food production operation.

Accounts and Operations Ordinator - Warwick - £30-35k

 

The Accounts & Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and maintaining an efficient, accurate and professional administrative function supporting the day-to-day operation of the business.

The role has a broad range of responsibilities across customer order administration, accounts support, invoicing, logistics coordination, operational documentation and general site administration. The postholder will ensure that information is processed accurately, efficiently and within required timescales, while providing reliable day-to-day support to the wider operational team.

Working closely with Managers and colleagues across Operations, Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Technical and Accounts, the role plays an important part in ensuring that the business has the accurate information, documentation and administrative support required to operate an effective food production operation.

 

The role of Goods In Operative

  • Receive order by phone and email, raising orders in Sage 200
  • Booking transport with hauliers
  • Co ordinating paperwork and labels for warehouse team
  • Working with warehouse team to prepare and issue orders for the next week
  • Raising credit notes in sage 200, arranging and raising remittances
  • Sending invoices and matching delivery notes
  • Matching up POD's
  • Posting month end and compiling customer statements
  • Completing month end
  • Updating spreadsheets
  • Maintaining records and advising operations team of any missing or incorrect paperwork
  • Monitoring of PPE stock and ordering new PPE

 

Details

Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm

Working hours may be negotiated for part-time working, subject to a minimum of 9:00am to 2:30pm

30-minute unpaid break

25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays

Office-based position

 

 

The person

  • Strong administrationskills and organisational responsibility with previous experience in a similar role
  • Software Proficiency: Knowing how to use office suites like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Intermediate IT with awareness of online data based and invoicing systems (eg: Sage 200 preferably)
  • Good verbal and electronic communication
  • The ability to meet deadlines, run reports and maintain schedules
  • Prioritise workload and set achievable targets
  • Punctual with good attendance, approachable, with the ability to treat information confidentiality
  • high level of organisation, accuracy, attention to detail, confidentiality and the ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced working environment.
